The Welsh Technologies Multi-Fuel System can be equipped on a vehicle in a matter of hours, depending upon the vehicle and options. Installation does not remove, render inoperative, tamper, or modify any of the vehicle's existing emission, fuel, or computer systems; so the vehicle remains in full compliance with the anti-tampering provisions of the Clean Air Act, unlike most dedicated alternate fuel systems. And since there is no modifications to the vehicle or engine, original vehicle manufacturer and engine warranties remain in full compliance, please consult with your original vehicle manufacturer for confirmation.

Welsh Technologies Multi-Fuel Systems can be removed from a vehicle or engine and returned to dedicated liquid fuel use with no modifications and installed upon another vehicle. The Multi-Fuel System maintains the trade-in value of your vehicle, unlike dedicated alternate fuel systems that have little or no resale value.

Welsh Technologies Multi-Fuel Systems are designed for carburetor, manual fuel injection, feedback carburetor, or computer controlled fuel injection systems for both gasoline and diesel fuel engines. In computer controlled fuel management systems the Multi-Fuel System has been engineered so the vehicle's own on-board computer controls reduce the quantity of liquid fuel by adjusting the pulse widths of the fuel injectors in relation to engine sensors such as rpm, speed, oxygen, etc. The Multi-Fuel System does not modify the engine's stoichiometric ratios; so modifications, adjustments, or dumming of the engine's computer is not necessary.

Welsh Technologies Multi-Fuel Systems are comprised of two basic components that permit quick installations:

Multi-Fuel System Controller   utilizes sophisticated internal solid state electronics to measure, treat, vaporize, control, regulate, and administer treated gaseous dry fuel to the vehicle's engine through a triple redundant safety system that only allows alternate gaseous fuel to flow to the engine during engine operation. The supply of alternate fuel is stopped to the engine immediately in a stall condition, even before the engine rotation stops. Alternate fuel is not utilized to start the engine and is only injected upon engine operation ensuring that gaseous alternate fuel can never pool inside the engine. A cold start feature is included in the Controller engineering.

Multi-Fuel System Fuel Reservoirs   are offered in numerous capacities to accommodate any vehicle and the extended range between refuelings of both existing liquid fuels of gasoline or diesel and the gaseous alternate fuels.

For vehicle systems:  The LPG (propane) Fuel Reservoir incorporates patented "Reservoir With-In Reservoir" technology that utilizes two compartments with-in the reservoir to ensure the safe storage of alternate fuel onboard the vehicle and simplifies and increases the safety of the refueling process; allowing a 'zero release' Quick-Fill connection to be installed immediately adjacent to the existing liquid fuel fill and eliminates the safety requirement for the now prohibited 'spit valve'. The compact size of the reservoirs allows installation in the trunk or under carriage of the vehicle ensuring little or no cargo space is taken away. The CNG (compressed natural gas) Fuel Reservoir incorporates the "Reservoir With-In Reservoir" technology and temperature adjusted pressure warning, overfill (pressure) protection, a self-resetting spring loaded pressure relief valve, in-reservoir pressure regulation so the only high pressure fuel line is from the quick-fill device to the reservoir, electronic fuel control at the reservoir, and electronic pressure indication.
